Hi folks, Ryan here.
First off, thank you all so, so much for your contributions to the Tiger Lawyer Indiegogo campaign. We’re less than a week in and have already raised just over $700. This is incredible. Keep spreading the word, if you can, and I’ll be bringing some awesome new perks throughout the course of the campaign.
Secondly, thank you so much to everyone who has ordered Tiger Lawyer #1 through the online store. We’re still getting a bunch of orders weekly, it’s awesome. I also thank you all for your patience in receiving those orders. Being a one-man post office is a little overwhelming, but I promise I’m doing my very best to get these books out as fast as I can.
In related news, there’s been a slight delay with the second-printing which will affect some online ordering wait times by about a week. Rest assured that all orders placed before and by this Friday, May 18th will go out this weekend.
The reason for this delay is that the second-printing was misprinted by the company that handled the issues. So what I’m going to do, to make up for the wait, is include not only a misprinted copy of the issue for all orders of Tiger Lawyer #1 and Tiger Lawyer #2 pre-orders (while supplies last, misprinted copies will be marked as such), but I’m also including a couple other goodies in every order. I won’t tell you what they are, but they could include prints, comics, stickers, and more.
CONTEST! That’s right, the fine folks at Comicosity are running a Tiger Lawyer #1 give away contest! Head over to their site to find out how to enter.
Lastly, Tiger Lawyer #2 is well underway, and is very much on track for an end of June Release. Pre-orders will begin in early June to coincide with the release of Hell Yeah #4, containing the first of five special Tiger Lawyer pages. We’ve got some incredible pin-up artists lined up for the second issue, so stay tuned for a more formal announcement on that soon.
And if you’re curious as to what I’ve been reading lately, check out this article on CBR’s Robot 6 blog in which I tell you just that. Major thanks to JK and the whole CBR/Robot 6 gang for letting me take part. It’s like a dancer seeing their name in marquee lights, I tell you.
Thank you so much again to everyone who’s helped, contributed, talked about, or purchased the book. You are all the best.
